Fixed fee arrangements
Using this type of arrangement gives you a set amount that you will need to pay for the work that we are instructed to do. Where the fixed fee is agreed, that fee will be payable before any work is started.*
Hourly rate arrangements
We will give you an estimate of the number of hours it will take together with our estimated costs. Our hourly rate is fixed at £250 plus VAT.
Conditional fee arrangements.
This package may be dependent on whether you win your case. For example, our agreement may be that if you do not win, you do not have to pay us, or you may have to pay a smaller fixed amount and only need to pay the rest if you win. Please note that we seldom offer this service.*If you decide to instruct us, we will make it clear at the outset how you will be charged and what it will cost. There will be no hidden surprises. If our charges are not clear at any stage, please feel free to ask our clerks to make sure you understand our charges.
*Where we agree a fixed fee or an hourly rate arrangement, please be aware that there may be a possibility of additional fees falling due if the work takes longer than first anticipated. For example, if there is new evidence that we must consider or if the matter becomes more involved or complicated. No further fees will be charged without agreement.
